Starting a business at 50 is a bold move, but, then, I have never been accused of being timid. Mox Vox is the culmination of my artistic evolution from actor to rock singer to voice artist.
From my acoustically treated home-studio, I craft voice-overs which strike a chord with listeners and create efficient experiences for my clients that are infused with playfulness.
The world of animation is populated with an array of characters, many of them quirky with funny voices. On the other end of the spectrum, a web series like ‘La Femme Criminelle’ takes a more naturalistic approach and allows me to explore a more subtle character with Detective Larrisa Bennett.

Hi, I’m Jen Santosuosso. Welcome to Mox Vox, where a lifetime of performing meets the magic of voice over. As the youngest of ten siblings, I was practically born with a built-in audience, setting the stage for a lifelong love affair with the spotlight. My journey began at the tender age of five, stepping onto the stage and embarking on a path that would weave through theaters from the historic streets of Boston to the vibrant cities of the San Francisco Bay.
Decades of dedicated training in acting, dance, and vocals culminated in the creation of my alter ego, Moxie St. Bones. She’s ‘Moxie’ for that indescribable spark of creativity ready to catch fire, and ‘St. Bones’ because, well, that’s what Santosuosso means in English. This vibrant persona became the charismatic frontwoman of a Bay Area rock band and the inspiration behind the birth of my voice over company – Mox Vox. The name, a fusion of Moxie and Vox (Latin for ‘Voice’), embodies the bold spirit and expressiveness that infuses every project I undertake.
